Ian Anderson Interview

Along with help from Noetic Pictures (thanks David and Vicky), I today interviewed Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson.

An illuminating discussion about his time growing up in Blackpool, art college, career choices and ofcourse the enduring and pioneering musical career with Tull and his increasing solo outings.

After just returning from a tour of the US, it was a pleasure for us that he allowed us into his home to talk frankly and passionately about progressive rock (with a small p) and listen to our ideas for the festival.

The footage will be included on the official DVD of the festival. At the moment this film is only guaranteed to be part of the package for the first 300 ticket sales. It's possible that the film may get an official release but this will be in a different edited form from the one given to advance ticket holders.

We're confident that this approach will guarantee success for the festival and make the initial film of the festival a real collector's item.
